Is it possible to improve on perfection?
Whilst Domaine de Mournac was a beautiful place when we bought it, the Domaine was in need of a bit of modernising and rejuvenation to match the building to the stunning surroundings.
From April 2017 to August 2017, many teams of tradesmen worked on the house. As well as redecorating throughout, we put new bathrooms in each bedroom, individually tailoring them to the unique spaces that come with a 12th century house. Original features have been retained where possible, you’ll see this most notably in the new kitchen!
We’ve furnished the house using lots of vintage furniture, giving old objects another life, all with a nod to the history of the building. We also re-arranged some areas to create a year-round activity space, and installed some new energy and water saving features.
Undertaking this much work was a challenge, but now we have the perfect property ready for welcoming guests!
