A week of ashtanga vinyasa Mysore practice with Jess Glenny (assisted by Nina Stephens)
Receive focused daily teaching from experienced teachers – and have a brilliant holiday in a beautiful historic spot, together with like-minded people. Expect a stunning location, delicious food, a heated swimming pool, and daily opportunities to walk and visit local places (or lie by the pool if you prefer). This is a small retreat (18 people maximum), and we will have this gorgeous retreat centre to ourselves.
We will be practising ashtanga vinyasa yoga Mysore style, which means you will get a lot of personal attention and a practice tailored to you. As always in Mysore practice, you are welcome to do as much or as little as you like. You definitely don’t need to know the series, and complete beginners are welcome. On a couple of days (perhaps when a long walk is planned for later) we may do a restorative morning practice. We’ll work this out together depending on the group’s needs. On at least some days, we will gather before dinner for a short meditative relaxation. We will be organising a group walk or trip on most afternoons – which you are free to join or not. Massage will be available on site (not included in the cost of the retreat).
