SUMMARY:Mary Magdalene Pilgrimage with Ariana Brakenbury & Roseanne de Beaudrap
DESCRIPTION:\n\nMary Magdalene Pilgrimage 2027 \nThe 8th and Final 21-Day Mary Magdalene Pilgrimage \nMay 9–29\, 2027 · France & Spain · Limited to 12 Participants \nIn May 2027\, Mary Magdalene Pilgrimages will gather for the eighth and final offering of this 21-day journey through southern France and Spain. While this completes the 21-day pilgrimage in its current form\, new Mary Magdalene pilgrimages exploring other sacred landscapes of France are already beginning to take shape. \nThis final 21-day journey brings together an extraordinary constellation of sacred places — from the landscapes most deeply associated with Mary Magdalene and the Cathars in southern France to some of the great pilgrimage sanctuaries of Europe: Montserrat\, Lourdes\, Rocamadour\, Vézelay and Chartres. \nWe begin in Provence\, entering the heart of the Mary Magdalene tradition at the Grotte de Sainte-Baume\, where tradition holds that Mary Magdalene spent the final years of her life in contemplation\, and the Basilica of Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume. At Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer\, we connect with the ancient tradition of Mary Magdalene’s companions arriving on the shores of southern France. \nFrom Provence we travel through Béziers and cross into Spain to Montserrat\, the extraordinary mountain sanctuary of the Black Madonna. We stay overnight\, allowing both the afternoon and the following morning to experience the monastery\, the mountain and La Moreneta before returning across the Pyrenees into France. \nOur journey then takes us to Les Contes\, with its remarkable chapel\, before entering the ancient landscape of the Cathars and Montségur. \nSeven Days at Domaine de Mournac \nFor seven days\, Domaine de Mournac becomes our home\, giving us the opportunity to slow down and enter more deeply into the sacred landscape surrounding us. \nFrom the Domaine we explore the Gorges de Galamus\, Bugarach\, Rennes-les-Bains\, Mirepoix\, Notre-Dame de Vals\, the Grotte de Bethléem\, Nébias and Rennes-le-Château\, along with lesser-known sacred places woven into this extraordinary land. \nOur time at the Domaine also provides something essential within a 21-day pilgrimage: space to rest\, reflect\, gather in circle\, share conversation and integrate what we are experiencing. The intimacy of living and travelling together allows a temporary community to form\, with each person experiencing their own inner pilgrimage while sharing the journey with others. \nFrom Domaine de Mournac\, our pilgrimage begins its final passage through four extraordinary sacred centres. \nWe travel first to Lourdes\, one of the world’s great Marian pilgrimage sanctuaries\, where we have time at the grotto and experience the evening candlelight procession. \nFrom Lourdes we continue to Rocamadour\, the dramatic medieval sanctuary built into the cliffs and home to its ancient Black Madonna. \nWe then travel north to Vézelay\, where the Basilica of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine has welcomed \nMagdalene pilgrims for centuries. We remain for a full day\, giving ourselves time to experience the sacred presence of \n\n\n\nVézelay rather than simply passing through. \nOur 21-day journey culminates at Chartres\, with time to explore the cathedral and a dedicated Labyrinth Day — a final opportunity to bring the outer pilgrimage inward before our journey comes to completion. \nMore Than a Journey to Sacred Sites \nThis pilgrimage is designed as both an outer and an inner journey. We walk the land\, enter caves\, churches and ancient sanctuaries\, gather in circle\, share conversation and create space for reflection throughout our time together. \nRather than simply visiting sacred sites\, we allow time to experience them — to listen\, to explore and to discover what these ancient places awaken within each of us. \nFor those who feel a connection to Mary Magdalene\, the Divine Sophia\, the Essenes\, the Cathars and the re-emergence of the Divine Feminine\, this pilgrimage offers an opportunity to encounter these traditions through the sacred landscapes in which their stories still live. \nYour Pilgrimage Leaders \nAriana Brackenbury — Pilgrimage Facilitator and Spiritual Guide \nAriana is the founder of Mary Magdalene Pilgrimages and has been leading sacred journeys through France since 2017. Her own path was profoundly changed by a 100-day pilgrimage that included walking the 800-kilometre Camino de Santiago\, opening a new chapter of her life centred on spiritual exploration\, mentoring and pilgrimage. \nHer work weaves sacred geography\, intuitive wisdom and a deep trust in what can emerge when we enter into relationship with the land. \nRoseanne de Beaudrap — Co-Facilitator \nRoseanne brings a grounded and intuitive presence to the pilgrimage\, shaped by a lifetime of service\, healing and spiritual exploration. Her experience includes more than two decades as a Registered Massage Therapist as well as energy healing\, guided meditation and working with the healing resonance of sound and crystal bowls. \nTogether\, Ariana and Roseanne hold a space in which the individual journey\, the shared experience of the group and the wisdom of the sacred places themselves can unfold. \nMay 9–29\, 2027 · 21 Days · France & Spain · Limited to 12 Participants \n\n\n
