Goodspace Yoga Retreats is women-owned by friends and yogis, Mary & Bridget, who have a passion for the yoga practice, traveling + building community. The Goodspace name is derived from a common translation of yoga sutra 2.46: sthira-sukham asanam – “to resolutely abide in a good space.” On retreat, we will encourage you to be grounded in and committed to whatever you are doing, when you are doing it.

Our yoga retreats are a chance to self-reflect, grow and get out of your comfort zone. Together we will breathe in new experiences through adventures that will immerse you into the local culture of France, while forging a dedication to your yoga practice. We can’t wait to share this Goodspace with you.

Mary Adkins

Mary, RYT-500, began practicing meditation and yoga in 2016, received her 200HR Vinyasa Yoga certification in 2017 and completed her 300HR certification in 2020. While still keeping body mechanics in mind, Mary often teaches to the energetic layer of the body and is passionate about educating students on the transformative path yoga can offer. Up until the beginning of 2023, she was the Studio Manager for YogaSix and taught weekly classes for a variety of different studios in Milwaukee. Now, to satisfy her thirst for adventure, she is traveling the US.  You can learn more about her experiences traveling and living yoga off the mat at The Dharma Diary.

Bridget Wirth

Bridget is an RYT-500 living and teaching yoga in her hometown of Milwaukee, WI since 2017. As a yoga guide, Bridget aims to create a safe, calming, and supportive space for students to explore their inner world. Bridget’s classes are creative, fluid and well-balanced, and often incorporate aspects of yoga philosophy and energetic practices for a holistic experience. Always a student, Bridget recently continued her education in the study of biomechanics and mobility. Outside of the studio, you can find Bridget dipping in Lake Michigan, hiking the National Parks or planning her next international adventure.
